Move more without finding extra time.
If you sit all day, the movement you do outside of workouts matters. A walking pad under your desk turns calls and email into easy steps.
The movement between workouts adds up.
NEAT, short for non-exercise activity thermogenesis, is the energy you use for everything that isn't sleeping, eating or deliberate exercise: walking to the kitchen, standing, fidgeting, taking the stairs.
How much energy NEAT uses varies a lot between people, mostly with job and lifestyle. Studies that break up long sitting with short bouts of walking see modest improvements in blood sugar after meals.
For desk workers it's often the easiest pillar to raise, because it fits into time you already spend working. You don't need a gym, just a slow, steady pace you can type at.

Does my walking pad work?
DeskWalker connects to walking pads that support Bluetooth FTMS (Fitness Machine Service). Look for "FTMS" in your pad's manual or product page, then search the list below. No FTMS? You can still log sessions manually and fill in Journeys.
