Withings Apple Health sync without Withings+.
New Withings accounts from 13 Oct 2026 need a paid plan for automatic Apple Health sync. You can still export Withings data as CSV for free and import CSV to Apple Health. Updated 21 Oct 2026.
What changed
Accounts created on or after 13 Oct 2026 need Withings+ for automatic sync to Apple Health, Health Connect, and partner apps. Accounts created on or before 12 Oct 2026 keep free sync, including when you add new devices — the rule is tied to the account, not the device. New devices include a one-month trial; when it ends, sync pauses, and data already in Health stays. Raw data export (CSV and PDF) stays free for everyone.
Reporting: The MacRumors report.
Do you even need this?
If your account predates 13 Oct 2026, use the built-in Withings Apple Health path instead of CSV. In the Withings app: Profile → Settings (gear) → “Export health data to Apple Health”. Withings notes that to refresh, open Withings, open Health, return to Withings, and pull to refresh. Details: Withings support on Apple Health export.
Step 1: export your CSV (free)
This is how you export Withings data as a Withings CSV archive.
From the Withings app
- Open the Withings app → Profile → Settings (gear, top right).
- Choose Export All Health Data → pick your profile → Start my archive.
- Withings emails a ZIP of CSV files (for example
weight.csv,activity.csv,sleep.csv).

From the web Health Dashboard
- Open the Health Dashboard → avatar (top right) → Settings.
- Choose the user → Download my data → Start my archive.

What is in the archive
- Activity: steps, distance, elevation, active calories
- Weight and body composition: fat, bone, muscle mass, hydration
- Blood pressure and heart rate
- Sleep: light, deep, REM, awake, wake-ups
- Body temperature (always Celsius), SpO2, height
Distance and weight use your account’s units.
Step 2: get it into Apple Health
Apple Health has no built-in CSV import. To import CSV to Apple Health you pick one of these routes:
- Health CSV Importer (Lionheart Software, healthcsvimporter.com): maps CSV columns to Health types. Weight imports on the free tier; other types (steps, heart rate, sleep, blood pressure) need its paid Pro tier.
- Blood Pressure Importer (iPhone, paid upfront, by Thomas Mason): blood-pressure CSVs with column mapping and duplicate detection.
- Apple Shortcuts: a shortcut can read a CSV and log weight samples one by one — fine for small weight files.
- Manual entry in Health for a handful of readings.
Import tips
- Import weight first.
- Mind units (kg vs lb); the export uses your account units.
- Avoid duplicates if you already had a trial sync — start the import after the last synced date.
- Timestamps in the export are local time.
Step 3: keep it going
The CSV route is one-off and manual. Repeat it monthly, or log new readings by hand in Apple Health. Metrya lets you log a blood-pressure reading by hand and writes it to Apple Health when a cuff did not.
General information, not affiliated with Withings or Apple.
Once the data is in Apple Health
Metrya reads it on your iPhone: body composition trend, blood pressure card, sleep, recovery. No account.
